“Earlier this month my toddler discharged from OT services with Mandy and we are so happy and impressed with the progress he made under her care. I work in the OT field but specialize in another setting, so when I understood that my child was not meeting certain milestones, I knew it was best to trust someone with better expertise. When you’re a mom you’re often worrying about everything already, and knowing that your child is behind only adds a mountain of anxiety on top of that. So it was overwhelming to be given a sheet of paper that has countless providers to choose from with hopes that one of them would work out. After our first day with Mandy though, I knew that we were in good hands. Throughout my child’s treatment, Mandy patiently listened to my concerns and made me feel like we were in partnership in finding ways to help address issues we were seeing. She also identified other challenges that my child was facing and always offered knowledgeable guidance and recommendations that reflected her experience. Aside from her competence and expertise, I was more than happy with the attention, patience, and care that Mandy gave my child. They quickly built a rapport and by the end of our time together, he would look outside for her when he knew she was coming and then couldn’t wait to see what she had for him that day. We shared many laughs and fun times together and that made tackling our goals easy. My child has gained so many skills and seems so much more confident in navigating his daily routines. I’ve already recommended others to consider Mandy would also encourage anyone else who is looking at that same daunting list of providers to seek her help too. I’m so happy with how far my little one has come and I’m glad to have had Mandy’s help!”

“As a parent of a child with a medically complex condition, I was extremely nervous when we found out our son needed occupational therapy. All of my fears were quickly erased when I met Mandy. She welcomed me into her sessions to observe when other therapists I had dealt with in the past didn’t want parents to be present. She was always very organized with safety and cleanliness being a priority. The most impressive part of therapy with Mandy was the way she seamlessly balanced working with my son and helping me understand his specific needs. While she “played” with my son, she was able to explain how the activities helped strengthen and improve his abilities. It helped me, as a mom, to use things I already had at home to help him progress. Seeing her therapy sessions made me more confident in continuing his therapy at home.
My son always looked forward to going to “play with Mrs. Mandy.” He would complain about other sessions because it took too long to get to his “play time” with her. The two of them were buddies and that trust allowed her to get him to experience new things that pushed him physically without fear or reservation. He would do anything for Mrs. Mandy.
I am so thankful for the support and encouragement she provided our son during his time in occupational therapy. I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking therapy for their little one.”

"I had the pleasure of working with Mandy on the leadership team of the Rehab Department of a busy metropolitan children’s hospital. In addition to providing excellent patient care Mandy was instrumental in several department-wide projects that helped to streamline our protocols, improve our efficiency and maximize patient outcomes. Mandy’s level of organization, commitment to excellence and compassionate care allowed our department to overcome unforeseen challenges due to the pandemic. Mandy always proved to be a reliable team member that was a valuable resource to patients, families, and colleagues alike. I highly recommend Mandy as a therapist, resource and team member.
